Chimney Stack Pointing & Rebuilds

Weathered stacks repointed, re-flaunched or rebuilt to stop leaks and keep them standing.

Chimney stacks take more weather than any other part of the house. Mortar joints wash out, flaunching cracks, pots work loose and before long water is tracking down into the bedroom ceiling.

Rob repoints and rebuilds stacks across Barnsley and South Yorkshire, from a simple rake out and repoint to taking a stack down to the roof line and rebuilding it with new pots, flaunching and lead work. Every job is matched to the existing brick and mortar so it looks right.

FAQs

Stack Pointing & Rebuilds questions

If the brick is sound and only the mortar has gone, repointing is enough. If bricks are spalled, the stack is leaning or the flaunching has failed badly, a rebuild is the better long term answer. Rob will tell you which.
