This policy explains what information Rob Whitfield Chimney Services ("we", "us") collects when you use this website and how it is used. We are a sole trader business based in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, and can be contacted on 07949 007973.

What this website collects

This website has no accounts and no tracking cookies. The quote form gives you two choices. WhatsApp opens on your own device with a message pre-filled from what you typed, and nothing is sent to this website. Email sends what you typed to Rob's inbox through our email delivery provider, Resend, which processes it only to deliver the message. Nothing is stored in a database on this website.

When you contact us

If you message us on WhatsApp, email or call, we receive your name, phone number and whatever you tell us about the job. We use that information only to reply, quote, book and carry out the work, and to remind you when your next sweep is due if you have asked us to. WhatsApp messages are handled under WhatsApp's own privacy policy.

How long we keep it

Job records, certificates and contact details are kept for as long as needed to provide the service, meet insurance and legal obligations, and send annual reminders. You can ask us to delete your details at any time by calling or messaging.

Hosting and analytics

The site is served by a hosting provider that may record standard server logs such as IP address and pages requested for security and performance. We do not run advertising trackers. If analytics are added in future this policy will be updated and any consent required will be requested.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask what information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and complain to the Information Commissioner's Office if you are unhappy with how we handle it.
