Rob Whitfield founded the business with a simple idea: do chimney work the way you would want it done in your own house. Over 20 years later that still means turning up on time, putting dust sheets down before anything else and not leaving until the job is tested, certified and clean.

Rob sweeps and inspects every type of chimney, fits wood burning and multi fuel stoves from survey to sign off, lines flues, repoints stacks and sorts out the small repairs that keep a stove burning well. Because he does the survey, the quote and the work himself, nothing gets lost between a salesperson and a fitter.

The business is based in Barnsley and covers the surrounding towns across South and West Yorkshire. Most new customers come from recommendations, and most existing customers book Rob back every year for their sweep.

Rob is a HETAS Approved Installer and a HETAS Approved Chimney Sweep. That means stove installations are self certified under building regulations without a separate building control visit, and every sweep comes with a HETAS recognised certificate that insurers and letting agents accept.
