Areas covered
Based in Barnsley and covering the towns and villages around it. If you are close to one of these, you are covered.
South Yorkshire · S70 to S75
Barnsley is home. Rob is based in the town and covers every corner of the borough, from the Victorian terraces around the centre to the newer estates on the outskirts. Most sweeps and inspections here are booked within the week, and installs are surveyed in person before anything is ordered.
West Yorkshire · WF1 to WF4
A short run up the M1 brings Rob to Wakefield and its villages. Older stone built homes here often have open fires that suit a stove conversion, and we sweep and inspect plenty of existing flues before the heating season starts.
South Yorkshire · S60 to S66
Rotherham is well within our regular round, including Wath, Swinton and the villages between. We fit log burners, line chimneys and carry out annual sweeps across the borough, with the same tidy, dust sheeted approach every time.
South Yorkshire · S1 to S36
From the north of Sheffield through Chapeltown, Ecclesfield and Hillsborough, Rob covers much of the city. Sheffield's mix of stone semis and terraces means a lot of liner and stove work, as well as stack repointing on exposed hillside properties.
South Yorkshire · DN1 to DN12
Doncaster and its surrounding villages are covered for sweeping, inspections and installs. It is also where our recommended log supplier is based, so new stove owners in the area are well placed for good, dry hardwood.
West Yorkshire · HD1 to HD9
Huddersfield and the Holme Valley sit at the western edge of our area. Many homes here rely on solid fuel through long winters, so regular sweeping and sound liners matter more than most. Rob travels out for installs, inspections and sweeps.
South Yorkshire · S36
Penistone's stone cottages and farmhouses are stove country. Rob is a regular in the town and the surrounding villages, from Thurlstone to Oxspring, for sweeps, liner replacements and new installs.
South Yorkshire · S73
Wombwell is only a few minutes from base, which makes it one of the easiest places for Rob to fit in a prompt sweep or a quick look at a problem flue. Plenty of local homes have had stoves fitted by Rob over the years.
South Yorkshire · S74
Hoyland, Hoyland Common and Elsecar are all covered. Rob sweeps, inspects and installs across the area, and is often asked back for the annual service once a stove is in.
South Yorkshire · S71
Royston sits on the northern edge of Barnsley and is part of Rob's core patch. Expect the same service as the rest of the borough, from a standard sweep with certificate to a full stove install with new liner.
South Yorkshire · S75
Darton, Mapplewell and Staincross are covered for every service we offer. Older properties around here often benefit from a CCTV inspection before a stove goes in, which Rob can do on the same visit as a sweep.
South Yorkshire · S75
Just west of Barnsley centre, Dodworth is a quick trip for Rob. Sweeps, bird cowls, liners and installs are all regularly carried out in the village and along the Dodworth Road corridor.
South Yorkshire · S72
Cudworth, Shafton and Grimethorpe are all within easy reach. Rob covers the area for annual sweeping, chimney repairs and new log burner installations, with before and after photos of local jobs in our gallery.
South Yorkshire · S36
Stocksbridge and Deepcar sit in the valley between Barnsley and Sheffield and see some proper weather. Rob carries out stack repointing, cowl fitting and liner work here alongside the usual sweeping and inspections.
